Well okay, Cuppy Cake is an alicorn, not a pegasus, but seriously.

And now I have more pegasi and more alicorns rolling up the queue, too. Kill me.

I know what you're thinking. "But Rena, they look awesome :la:" And yes, they do! But they did not look awesome before a fair amount of consideration was put into them, and, ~Registered111 had to give me his hand in the matter because I'd gone a bit too far in a weird direction with it. Somehow Stormberry was one of the only characters I did the wings 100% myself on without any advice or input. Wings are weird.

... Seriously if we look at all the recent icons, they're almost all winged xD You guys are murder on me. Pure murder.

These are only for the commissioners, as always. You know the drill. Break the rules and I'll throw Tess at you.

Awesome! :D I like the one in the upper-left the best. For whatever reason, I can't really do sparkles (/uses nooby spray paint can or tries to randomly place dots but fails... I think it's a color picking issue) but you make sparkles really well. :D

I've been told I'm good at sparkles, patterns, runes, stripes, et cetera... xD I appreciate it as a skill and I'm glad I can manage it so well.

My advice for you is to be very sparing on the sparkles, while putting enough of them that people can see them and realize what they're supposed to be. Putting far too many just looks cluttered and sometimes formless, but putting very occasional dots (both subtle and bright) in occasional places, enough to cover the character, seems to be key as far as I can tell. It's less about being random and more about being calculated, but I think being sparse is the best idea. Hope that helps :P

The wings are all different styles on all of them xD If you're still having trouble, I know there are quite a few tutorials out there, if not for ponies, then for birds. Whenever I have trouble I resort to them :meow: That, or take a look at *atryl's work-his wings are very detailed and accurate.

I love the hair on Cuppy Cake :) It's really glittery and flowy and pretty and cakey x3
